All prospective patients meet with Deborah Smith, a refractive surgery coordinator, at their initial office visit. Deborah conducts preliminary vision screening tests, including: acuities, lensometry, refractometry, corneal topography and pachymetry to determine if the patient meets the specific criteria for refractive surgery. The doctors examine their patients at the second visit, the pre-operative evaluation, to ensure the patient is a candidate for a favorable refractive surgery outcome.
